Replacement to the current range of Vostro 1320, 1520, 1720 now available @ Asia Pacific sites. Take a look.
    14 incher VOSTRO is back.

However, i'm quite confused with the model number used. It starts with 3300, 3400, 3500 and 3700.

Here is the link from Dell

    http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/pro...n&s=bsd&cs=aubsd1&~lt=popup&~tab=highlighttab

The 13-inch 3300 starts at $788; the 14-inch 3400, $768; the 15-inch 3500, $768; and the 17-inch 3700, $798. If you opt for Graphics chips are responsible for processing all images sent to your computer?s display.
Learn Morediscrete graphics (512MB video memory for the 13-15-inchers; 1GB of video memory for the 17-inch model), those starting prices skyrocket to $1,1127, $1,027, $977, and $1,007, respectively.

also Dell India site already included the 3300 and 3700 models to their site without pricing. But they missed 3500 for India :D (see the attachment)

Very interesting....screen resolutions aren't great though unless they haven't put up additional options. For example the 3500 15.6 inch screen is 1366x768 and I'm not finding an upgrade option...Dell Oz site btw...I could get by with the 3700 I guess....I like my Vostro 1220 enough to get another one.

I feel the same way! The only thing that throws me off about the HP is they have displayport instead of HDMI...not a big deal, but carrying around another connector would be nice to avoid.
