Guys, can you confirm for me the hard drive form factor? Seeing that some of you upgraded to an ssd, I'm guessing it takes a 2.5 in / 9.5mm. Thanks.

^ Only 2.5" 9mm SATA drives will fit in the V130.

Could not find this thread, the search does not search properly for 'V130'.
Is there any news on a possible Sandy Bridge upgrade for the V130? Or the difference between the two battery options-

Just had a chat to dell, there are no plans at the moment for a SB refresh or a higher capacity battery :(

The V13 (discontinued) and the V130 (to be discontinued) are laptops Dell will not sell in the future. However they do sell the L13. It's a shame that both the V13 and V130 will not progress as they are attractive looking ultra-portables with a solid build quality at their respective price points.

Wow, are you sure about this? No successor to the V130?

Yes i'm sure. Will there be a successor to the V130, yes every machine has a successor but it won't look or carry anything over from the Adamo/V13/L13/V130 design.

Well darn, looks like I need to take the plunge and get the V130 soon then. The oh-so-sexy design is the main reason I'm buying it. :D
