seems like Dell is giving us USB 3.0 after all. should I cancel my order now or do u think Dell will give us early birds a free motherboard upgrade?

Another question about the Precision On Button. I pressed it and it said I need to install Reader. I found reader on the Dell Download and some info here:

The reader basically mirror your Outlook. You can check your calendar, contact or task without booting into OS. Meaning you can use it only if the OS is not running.

 

That's an excellent question! I am waiting an engineer on site to change the motherboard and the graphic card... and with this post, I am thinking to return this order for "latent defects"...

 

Anyone seeing issues with keyboard touching the screen and leaving marks? I am wondering if I should put a a lint free screen wipe over the keyboard before I close it.

If possible, could you ask your contacts in Dell to see if Dell is planning to compensate those who ordered with USB 2.0? I can't believe they upgrade their machine this fast while many of us are still waiting for the shipment...

Me too! and I am a very old and good client... I cannot believe that Dell is making a so important marketing mistake!

 

They read these threads, so hopefully they can provide some info on the upgrade if there is one. I will ask about it.

I will wait on asking my regional sales rep until after I hear something.

Wonder how many of us there are? M6500's have only been shipping for just over a month.
