No, I dont think so. The way it works is it syncs your folders when you exit outlook. I do not think its 'live' outlook. No internet. I definitely can be wrong about this. But thats why it syncs everytime outlook ended. That was the other thing I did not like about it - that syncing thing..

I just installed the reader to try it. I did not see anything for the internet browsing and it also looks like it just takes items that was sent from Outlook with the Reader software.

I quickly uninstalled it. Not a useful feature for me. All my other gadgets do that better (i.e. Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Netbook, the computer is already on, etc...).

They should reprogram that button so if you press it a Dell Platinum Level 45 service tech calls your cell phone in 30 seconds. In case you ever need one, that is.

What drive is Dell using for the “256GB Mobility Solid State Drive” they offer with the M6500
Could it be the Samsung Second-gen.

Yeah thats the problem with it, in addition to the fact that boot times with a decent SSD are only around 40 seconds and with direct push email to phones it's a week feature.

Its a shame that the instant on button cannot be used to boot another OS such as Mandriva InstantOn OS or simular so that the normal boot doesn't require a bootloader such as grub to have a light linux and windows together.

I'd love geexbox on my instant on button...

    Yes, from my usb stick.

I used the original HDD provided by dell (WD scorpio black 250GB 7200rpm) and I switched to AHCI. Same thing happened, W7 installation froze at the beginning.

I followed the procedure and I got a freeze when rebooting in AHCI. I switched back to ATA and I got BSOD. Only system restore worked.

I think my problem is a sofware issue but I can't figure out what driver I missed. I read here that some people installed there own SSD, so how did they manage to get it work in AHCI?

Not really helpful to you but I took out the 2 mechanical drives.

Replaced the first drive with an SSD, second drive with a 500GB mechanical.

    Set AHCI in BIOS

Put in Windows 7 x64 DVD

Clicked Next a lot and it all worked fine
