    Samsung = 30 x 51 x 3.75 mm
    RunCore = 31.5 x 70 x 6 mm

    I've already popped the access panel off the back of mine (it's so easy) and looked longingly at the empty FCM slot. If I get a chance over the weekend I'll do it again and measure the slot... not sure if this will help on depth (I can try) but if I can confirm the length is greater than 70 mm that would help. Give me a few days.

    Edit: tell you what, the online manual that shows the CRU component installation methods... that Samsung fits in there pretty snug. I would already guess that the FCM slot is just over 50mm long... Too bad, putting a 128GB minicard in there would be sweet.

    Do you need a hardware kit to mount the second drive or does it ship with an carrier in the empty bay?

    Got my M6500 yesterday :D , installed W7 and all is well, except for a faint popping noise coming from the left speaker. I've read posts stating other users are experiencing the same, so now I'm wondering if anyone for a fix. Thanks.

    I read to uninstall the DELL driver and use the Win7 driver and that will go away...

    A00. I haven't had the time to upgrade yet, and no pressing need.

    I had an older version of the IDT audio drivers installed (A12). After I uninstalled them, the faint popping noise was gone, (thanks theZoid :D). I am currently testing the latest version (A13) of the IDT drivers. So far no popping. I'll post an update if the noise returns.
