    Than you mannyA!

First problem. Ths SSD disk doesn´t apear in devices management. It apear jut ARAID and the driver of the ARAID by Microsoft corporation. So I cannot know what firmware I have INSIDE the RAID in the individuals SSD. It´s there another way of seeing that? I can´t find it in BIOS too.

Second problem is that maybe if I change AHCI in BIOS I will loose the RAID so I will loose all the information in the disks! I have not much, but it was installed by DELL and I suppose is very good ensambled. I could save it with a disk image too but I have never made a disk image. I see windows 7 64bit have and option of a windows image and it´s for free. Maybe this is the solution?

And I have a new problem. Every time I boot the wifi doesnt work and I have to click in Net Problem Assistant to enable wifi. It´s there and key to automatic enable this for ever? I mean, not the hardware buttom in the side of the laptop.

    Thank you in advance!

I do not think there is another way seeing it, other than taking the drive out and using another computer. As long as you do not write anything to the disk with the other computer, it should not mess anything up, but I would be cautious about that.

If you change to AHCI, you will lose the raid.

You can image the drive using Acronis True Image, then break the RAID changing to AHCI, then restore to just a single disk or to the RAID disk.

Also, is the firmware written on a label on the drive?

They will enable the ACHI mode....

Mine was two SSD drives non raid and they had it set to the RAID/ATA mode. I changed it to AHCI.

    Hi rinconmike, & giannini,

How is your system reacting now that you switched to ACHI mode?

And what other changes did you make in the BIOS if any

How is everything working: better, worse, or unchanged?

    Hi rinconmike,

    That's a good thing

Have you had any sound problems, popping sounds from your speakers or
static crackling like sounds or anything like that coming from your speakers?

    Thank You,
