Heh, I'll make you the same deal as Razibus: send me a calibration device and I'll calibrate my LG monitor and send you the results! :D

Anybody live near Denver, CO, USA with the calibration tools? :D

We're all dying to hear how you did this - please share if possible - you should have +10 rep power.

Its here!!!!!!!!!!!! and not DOA unfortunately. I was looking forward to chewing some dell butt in order to get the USB 3 but all is well.

Now, how do I determine what panel I got?

On the US site the configuration allows now for 3 hard discs apart from the DVD drive. Not a mini card, from the looks of it.

Now RAID 5 becomes a reality, although my past experience with the Intel Matrix driver has been bad.

Does anybody know where this goes in the machine? I am getting close to deciding on buying one, but hard drives are the most overpriced item on Dell's site unfortunately, so I rather buy/install them myself.

Not sure where the 3rd HDD/SSD would go but please be aware that you may not get the second hard-drive interposer if you don't get the second drive from dell. Some people have only ordered one drive and received the interposer and some have not.

I don't think a lot of people know how to increase your rep power. I tried, but I got a message stating I need to "spread the reputation" before I can further increase yours. Suffice to say, I'm working on it. :D

They maintain a spare parts locker, because his company is a repair partner.
So it's likely a warranty parts board he swapped in.

    YBcold,

Download the latest version from CPUID: PC Wizard 2010 1.93
    it's a sweet free program.

After you install PC Wizard 2010; open the program on hardware tab,
click the second Monitor on the far left it’s the video icon and
look on the right side you will see Monitor Type: that’s it.

Have fun with the program, this will give you a lot of information about your system... :)

    Hope This Helps,
