    Hi all,

I wonder which display panel the reviewer from AnandTech had LG or Samsung.
And out of all the users on this thread how many have the LG panel,
for thus that have the LG display panel where they able to calibrate the GL panel or not..?

I changed my sig to fit the delivery trend of late...

Does the M6500 have a glare or anti-glare type screen?

ok allready read your old post - here it is: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=5718431&postcount=663

The cold temperature in sRGB and Adobe-RGB mode you measured with the settings in Dell's own controlpoint software? So there is something wrong I understand. ;)

This controlpoint software would allow me (if correct implented) to use the panel in near sRGB or Adobe RGB mode by default? I tried to ask this allready Dell's hotline here, but... :D

so maybe the very high deltaE from review is caused by that... ok.

Bokeh, can you make measurement with French ColorHCFR software to get 2D graphics of native gamut? Maybe you allready have these graphics... :)

Personally I use a Gretag/Xrite Eye-1pro with basIIColor display 4.1 and iColor Display 3.6 from Quato for calibration and profiling...

    Thanks + Best, Walter

I have ControlPoint installed (except the security package). But the Display Settings only allow me to control "Disable alarms and timers", "Enable Ambient Light Sensor" and "Enable Panel Refresh Overdrive on Battery Power". No sign of color settings. Could it depend on my Ati card?

    It's best described as 'kinda-glare'.

I think Zoid hit the nail on the door (oh sorry, head) - the tech obviously forgot to replace the brother boards
