Wow, I'm so sorry, but, did you try to instal the drivers manually?

    Hi John,

Thanks for the response. It sounds like you have found a very good and consistent solution for your workflow. I'm glad the M6500 is working out for you. I'm continuing to "tweak" my calibrations and other settings. Just about the time I get it "perfect" it will be time to move on to another system. :)

Cool. I had not drilled down on that before. I am in NTSC mode.

If you're going to calibrate (or use colour management at all for that matter) I'd stay with the NTSC colour space.

No problem, I'm going to retest today if the sun shows itself, but this time I'll use Photoshop to detect the color temperature change.

just tried the NEC USB 3 drivers from the HP website (new HP Envy has USB 3). Still no luck, although the HP NEC drivers are Jan 2010 while Dells are November 2009

That was my understanding. Glad by default it was set there and saved me any grief

I went into BIOS and enabled USB 3. Once booted it installed the drivers and acknowledged the USB 3 drivers installed. I was able to open the webcam and use Skype. Hope this helps.
