    Hi guys,

I am wondering if anyone figured out how to turn off the bluetooth without turning off Wifi as well? I know we can set the functionality of the wireless switch in the M6500 BIOS but is there another way because I might want to turn on Bluetooth sometimes? I can't seem to find the setting in Windows 7 at all and Googling doesn't help much.

By the way, my M6500 just crashed on startup with a BSOD when I changed the brightness in the login screen using the Fn+Down Arrow.

    Thanks,
    Sherman

I'm seriously considering the M6500, along with the Vostro 3700. My use is mostly for software development, and photography work as well (Photoshop). I'm not much of a gamer.

So, I like the fact that this machine can hold more than one drive, but I was surprised at the cost of additional drives. Even a 250GB drive (7200RPM) is an upcharge of $230, which seems exorbitant. My question is can I buy it with one drive, and install a second drive myself without voiding any warranty that comes with the machine? I guess I'm really looking at ways to bring the cost down a bit and this seems like an obvious one.

    Thanks for your help.

Precision on is described in the manual, unfortunately named as Latitude on. You can use for a quick access to Mail e. g. stored in Outlook. There is a BIOS setting to activate this button.

Technically it is very easy. Just remove the battery and two screws. See here, place for the second drive is below the fan on the left side.
Legally check the manual, see the first "Caution".
    Practically I would do it.
