Just bought a V13 from the Outlet Store, (previously ordered new) for $419, with free shipping and it comes with Windows 7 Premium. It's the base unit which I plan on installing Ubuntu 10.4 and Windows 7. Total cost with tax included was $448.33

    Can't wait to see it ! :)

Congrats! I am happy with my Latitude 13, and not second guessing my decision one bit. I am sure you will do the same. By the way, 10.04 works great on it!

Thanks, I can't wait to see how a ULV Celeron runs Windows 7. I may just go Ubuntu 10.4 all the way.

Picked up a Outlet V13 with one of the 'Spring Cleaning' 20% coupons.

Picked it up for my wife for something mobile (she uses a Vostro 1720 as a desktop replacement at home, see sig for stats). I think its an older refurb, given the processor. Still runs just peachy, and nicer in almost all ways than my MSI Wind Netbook (2GB, Atom, WinXP).

Intel Celeron M Processor ULV 743 (1M Cache, 1.30 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64BIT (Not sure why with 2GB of ram, but that's what it came with)
    2 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1066MHz (1 DIMM)
250 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
    Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module
Dell 1397 802.11B/G Wireless Mini Card
    6 Cell Primary Battery
    65W AC Adapter
    Integrated 1.3M Pixel Webcam

    $409 less 20% = $327 + tax (free shipping).

For that price I (and my wife, since it her's!) think it is a LOT nicer than my MSI netbook, by long shot. Given she's going to use it the same as I use my netbook (email, web stuff, light document use) I don't think the low-ball processor will be an issue. A bit slower to get to desktop than my XP-based netbook, but that will probably speed up a bit once I do a clean install, less bloatware...though to be honest, there really isn't much extra Dell S/W on the V13 as it arrived, so I may forgo the clean install and just turn off the services I don't use.
