Got my V13 last week from Dell, upgraded the RAM to 4GB and windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. No problem so far except the driver for "Dell wireless 5620 (EV-DO-HSPA) Mobile Broadband Mini-Card", anybody has ideas where I can download it?

    Thanks!

Please list your system specs and any tweaks or modifications - thanks.

Go to support.dell.com, punch in your service tag and download away.

    Flatsix911 my specs;

    Core 2 Duo SU7300 @ 1.3 GHz
    4 GB DDR3 1066 Hynix
    160 GB 5400rpm Toshiba?
    Intel GMA 4500MHD
    Windows 7 Professional 32 bit

All the relevant specs I can think of. The Vostro V13 shouldn't have a different mobo than the Latitude 13...still the GS45 chipset so same 4500MHD..

I actually tried it previously and could not find it, that's why I asked it here.

Thinking of buying V13 for browsing, Office related work and video watching, is it still a good options for lightweight and cool running laptop? Looking for something that I could put on my lap

You will be very happy with the V13 ... :)
Very lightweight, slim, runs cool and silent.
Also has a HD graphics processor for movies

Interesting - my V13 is identical except for:

    4 GB DDR# 1066 KINGSTON
    320 GB 7200 RPM HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit

Any idea what might cause the perfomance difference?

Yes I have the Latitude 13, very cool running, it will perform office tasks with ease. The fan is only barely audible on full blast (Flash heavy sites, games).

I mean I have the Hynix 4 GB module...but they should all run at 800 MHz as the CPU is 800 FSB. The HDD tests are the same, WEI puts all traditional HDD at the same rating...

Thanks flatsix911 and Godaime Hokage ;) I thinking of buying its newer cousin, the Vostro V130 with newer Core i3 ULV compared to SU7300 but I think I better get the 13 because of its longer battery life
