How's the heat with the 500GB drive? The 320GB gets very warm/hot within 10-15 minutes.

Today it's been on for 6 hours so far, the right side of the palmrest is barely warm. HWMonitor shows the temp at 32C

    Simple solution:

    1) Call, 2) Cancel, 3) Reorder. :)

Thanks, once I get my money back i'll order another one with a 500GB drive. :)

Hrm odd how Vostro V13 only comes with 7200 rpm while Latitude 13 standard is 5400 rpm lol.

    V13/L13 is 2.5" 9mm SATA drive.

Don't forget that the Latitude 13 is a terrible deal for basically the same machine. You also get 1GB of Ram with the L13 base config and it costs more that the V13 @ $349.

Don't know that answer until you order one and tell us. :D

Shipped already, just a matter of waiting and inspecting this problem myself. I can always return.

Well terrible deal or not, it doesn't make sense lol.

When I was looking at the V13/L13 6 months ago, they were the same price but ever since the V130 was released the V13 dropped like a ton o'bricks.

Still my L13 was 560 shipped but it has Windows 7 Professional and the Dell Slim ODD.
