my free next day is actually free next day. It shipped out friday and im getting the laptop Tomorrow before 3 via fedex.

 

You lucky whore! On the Order Status did it say scheduled delivery 7/30?

 

on the dell order status, it said delivery will be 8/1-8/3 but when i got tracking on the fedex site it says 7/30 by 3 pm

 

Wow, thanks, that got me more anxious. Mine says the same thing (8/1-8/3), but I don't have tracking info yet (and it does say Next Day Delivery). My e-mail said Standard Overnight FedEx was the carrier, so hopefully it will be that!

 

it should be then. You might not get it until tuesday though, because they dont really ship it out on weekends.

 

My Vostro 1500 was scheduled for Aug 16 but it has shipped and should arrive this week

 

I have a fake company name for my shipping address. In the DHL tracking my shipping address says

lol... this is not a realy company. AFAIK i actually put in my street address when i ordered from dell.. anyone know what the deal is here? Will DHL actually have my street address even though its not mentioned on the tracking page?

 

theyll have your street address. i think its just for security reasons

My brother used the same "company" to order his inspiron a year ago, so I was hoping it would work.

 

That makes me laugh. LLC? You tried to pretend your street address is actually the address of a limited liablility corporation? If you wanted to make it believeable, you should've pretended to be a small business, not a massive corporation so huge that it is acknowledged as it's own legal entity! I just used my own name though, and repeated it for the "company name" line. Dell doesn't care.
