Suspecting that’s just generic language they put on all machines. Same thing with the other option… If the system really had AHCI support then it would support SATA drives. (NVMe drives don’t use AHCI.)

Out of curiosity can you switch from AHCI to RAID On just like switching from RAID On to AHCI?

    Yes, exactly the same process.

Oh, Dell, you've got to be kidding me... This is their offer for a 1-for-1 replacement. No discrete GPU, no NFC (mine has it), and a heck of a lot of extra stuff that I never ordered with my 7530. At least the CPU is the same.

I am going to reinstall a fresh Windows version. How could I obtain the pre-installed license key or activate the license ?
    Thanks.

    The 7760 manual does state:

Slot 3, slot 4, and slot 5 supports PCIe Gen3, Optane, and SATA Solid-state drive.

Perhaps with RAID ON with the Intel Drivers it will support the SATA drive. Might be worth a try. If so, then I think Keeping RAID On would be better on this system. I am curios on the person that installed the Samsung drives what mode he had it in for Magician to see and update the drive firmware. The one reason I switch to AHCI is for when I put a second drive with the though that it needed to be AHCI for Samsung Magician to see the drive and update it.

Yeah, I noticed this right away too. My 7740 is hotter than Shakira in a bathing suit most of the time and I even have Throttlestop running with a .125v deficit.

It's a good alternative... but it's still not available for purchase yet.
The design is a bit more flashy than what I prefer
But the 7x60 not having toolless access is stupid since it's obviously possible to have it.

It'll also be quite a bit more expensive in the same config.
