    My order has just moved to "shipped" status! :D :D Should receive it on Wednesday or Thursday. Now I finally get to "use" all of the information I was able to get from this thread. Thank you all!

    Just out of curiosity, what sort of scores are people with FX1700Ms and WUXGA screens getting in 3DMark06 and Cinebench?

    I've been trying the Crysis demo with mine and I've yet to run into any cooling issues (it hasn't crept much about 75 degrees so far) and I was just curious whether the card was running at full tilt.

    Hey, has anyone tried putting Windows 7 Beta on an M4400?

    Just curious since mine is arriving this week and I'm definitely going to try it out on there ... if it works well I may stick with it.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Thank you for your advice, I have bought Zalman NC1000 3 days ago, and I am very pleased. Without the cooler GPU temp rise up to 96C in 15 minutes with Furmark Stability Test(1280x1024, no AA), with the cooler it will rise up to 82-83C in 20 minutes.
    And I played COD-WAW(1280x800, 4XAA, full settings) 3 hours very fluently and the GPU temp maxed at 79C.

    Thanks everyone for helping me...

    @aekpone

    Why would you think the M4400 is compatible with those? AFAIK they've never been an option and the quad-cores and xtreme processors are an entirely different thing.

    @GordonHo

    Install BIOS A02 or A03 to try and fix the GPU overheating

    I'm on A02, still downclocks and I've realized, how is the BIOS going to fix a physical issue? It's a placebo affect when we think one of the M4400 BIOSes are helping, they're not. I tried A01 recently, just as bad results =/.

    Goren, before buying the M4400 I had a MacBook Pro (from July 2007). I have to say the difference in the display is really big. I have chosen for the RGBLED for the M4400 because the MBP already had a WLED display and I wanted to have something better.
    For the first week I really had to get used to the new display. Colors are so much brighter, it felt even painful to the eyes ;-) But after week or so I got used to it and I did some experimenting on the NVidia Control Panel. The colors are fine now, but I sometimes think the red is a bit to bright. I haven't figured that out yet. I wish I could compare it to another laptop with the same type of display, or try to use a calibration device.
