    Do you mean RGBLED?? I'm not sure what you mean by white lgb color...

    From the configuration page:

    15.4” WXGA (1280x800) CCFL Display [Included in Price]
    15.4” WXGA (1280x800) LED Display [add $49]
    15.4” UltraSharp™ WXGA+ (1440x900) LED Display [add $70]
    15.4" UltraSharp™ WUXGA (1920x1200) CCFL Display [add $149]
    15.4" UltraSharp™ WUXGA (1920x1200) RGB-LED TRUELIFE Display [add $299]

    The UltraSharp WXGA+ is a white LED.

    @civil

    The RGB LED isn't available online here either...for all options give Dell a call in your country and tell them (or mail them) a list with all the components you would like. Where do you live by the way?

    The RGB LED screen isn't listed on Dell's UK site but it is on the configuation system of the sales reps if you give them a call (it's always worth phoning Dell instead of ordering online - I managed to get an upgrade to the FX 1700M for free...)

    I'm between Precision M4400 and Studio XPS 1640.
    The things that worry me is, that I've heard many users here complain about the GPU downclocking after some playing. Is it the same wit everyone?
    And also, is there no Blu-Ray Player option for the M4400? I couldn't find any on the UK's conf. page...

    @McBrainless

    AFAIK there's no Blu-Ray for the m4400 but you could always call them.
    As for the downclocking, stick with older BIOS (A02, A03) and you'll be fine

    Cool.
    Thanks.
    Also, AFAIK there is no real performance difference between DDR3 and DDR2 Ram at the moment?

    I'm trying to order a refurb M4400, but the only one that has 99% of my requirements falls short on the optical drive - it has a DVD-ROM instead of the DVD-RW. Ok, no prob, I'll order the drive separately.

    The problem is that there are two drives available, and I'm not sure which will work in the system I'm ordering. One is SATA, the other is IDE.

    I'm hoping that owners here will be able to tell me what to expect - are they all IDE, all SATA, or is it a mix? Can I reliably order one or the other, or must I wait and see what it is when I get it before I can order the drive?
