I think it is, especially with all the RAM and everything you put in. Why not try and sell it on the marketplace here? At least people can check up a bit...on you and the machine ;) Just tell the whole story, i find it easier to trust people here where i can see what they posted about the system and such than on ebay, especially if you don't already have like 20000 sales and good rep there.

Too bad to see it go though! Tell whoever buys it to get on the forum and contribute ...lol

I just had a BSOD !?! First time ever in Vista 64 actually. Was just working in 3DSmax and when i switched some lights to have raytraced shadows it just switched off :( Probably doesn't have anything to do with that and i don't really know how to look for a cause.

the error said something like nvldd...

    not happy :(

A09 works fine here too. 2 1/r hours doing Far Cry 2, no OC, temps at 74celsius max. All running good

Update on the speeding fan issue on Bios A06 - mine goes to fastest (and loudest) setting very soon after connecting an external monitor. No games or any major graphics/cpu stress and not running hot at all. Fan will only return to quiet speed if I pull the monitor plug out of the notebook.

I'll try A09 and see what happens. This noise is driving me crazy.

Use a different driver version if it happens more often.

Do you use the profile in the nvidia control panel for 3dsmax ?

No i don't use overclocking if that's what you mean. All just default, is there any log or something saved so i can check the details of what happened? I got the message saying the system recovered from a crash etc and then it looks online for the problem but that window just dissappears.
