    Again about the black lid:
Black finish with (screen type) LCD lid....the black doesn't say anything about the lcd lid, read the WITH ;) The one guy who did get a tech to come by and place the black lid just got lucky the rep he was talking to, indeed, had no clue ;)

Hi i have a new problem now, i went back to a03 because i experienced downclock in a09 but now my GPU temp never goes above 55 degrees ?? so i reckon that it still downclocks but at a lower temperature, can i change the temperature settings where the downclocking starts manually?

i dont run very hard 3dwork, so it kind of works on my old games, but framerates goes from 60 to 25 in Wow and gpu never exceeds 55 degrees, any ideas?

Yeah me too.. I use mine mostly at school (interior) and the weather in Denmark is very cloudy at the moment hehe
My screen really stands out when i sit next to my school mates in school with their costly (..and ugly) Mac Book Pro's.. (they have either WLED or CCFL).

You can check your hardware ID for your screen by going to properties for screen, the choose details and from the drop-down select "hardware ID".
SEC = samsung and LG = LG..

What method do you use to get Dell to accept the fact that you can replace parts yourself?

Hi, I m about to purchase a M4400 and was wondering what advice anyone has for ordering 8gb memory. I'm not sure what Dell's price is but I am sure if you purchased it from another site its cheaper whats a good site to purchase from? What brand have people been going with?
