    funny thing is after multiple reboots it just suddenly went away.

    it came and went away without ANY reason.. it would happen for youtube, or media player, or games.. but just no reason...

    and trust me the tech support has NO IDEA how to resolve it..

    I saw a thread a while back where this guy this some bios editting to make 5870s oc from 700mhz to 850mhz. Unlike the software ocing, this enabled stable ocing and in gpu z the default clock will be listed as 850mhz.

    it was a pretty long guide as far as I can remember, but I cannot seem to find it.

    Does anyone have link to this thread? I will give you some +rep! :) :)

    I am not sure if I have found the right DRIVERS, but this thing only installs catalyst center. The driver does not appear to be in this file.

    Does anyone have link to the latest driver non beta that will work for the R2?

    Also, is it possible that each 5870 may have different vbios? I was checking on something and it seems like both might have different vbios... What should I do in this case?

    Please help I am really stuck. Have seen a blue screen appear while installing a driver... :( :(

    thanks for the link, but the guide that i was refering to is a different one.

    that guide used 5870s to oc and it literally editted some bios stuff to make the default clock to 850mhz, up from 700mhz. I would know if I see the guide. just that I cant remember what the title was...

    Any other help??

    Follow these steps, it will allow you to pull the vbios from your card. Open it with Raedon BIOS Editor change the 3D Clocks, and then flash the new vbios to your card.

    The lastest working for amd-based dell alienware with cfx-enabled is 11.10, all 11.11 will give an endless bsod, how crap
    You have to use 11.10 or trying unofficial 8.93 to see if it,s working for you, for me it's perfect :D
