There's somewhat of a difference in shaders and a little bit of a wattage and pipelines that are pretty marginal. Now the M4600 is terrific in terms of finally back to the original formula of a rgbled and now IPS screen and very very strong portable gpu for a work class machine and plus don't forget you can't remove the gpu on yours you'll have to replace the whole motherboard for that... Plus you got a total maxxed out R2 for gaming and hey also all you need is a 6990M or something and your good to go!

    good point about the upgradability.

I got this M4500 for $670 with tax so... I am hopin that it will be good enough to run Autocad, all the latest Adobe editing suites without any hicups.

What is the performance of the 1000m? I know it isnt much of a gaming performance, but what kinds of things can you do with it??

I see that 2000M is MUCH better than the 1000M

I was wondering if the interposer and the caddy is included for the 2nd HDD when I just get the system with one HDD. I am getting a refurbished system.

If not so, anyone have link where I can buy them?

Any help would be really appreciated!

I dont' think there is that big difference between both. DDR3 acts as bottleneck in Quadro 2000M. Maybe the firepro will fit your needs better.

No, you can't use all four, only two with a dual-core CPU.
