    Go for the 150" adapter, even the 130W adapter of the M4400 leads to slow downs during full load.

    I noticed that in the "safely Remove Hardware" window there is an USB Smart Card reader, but I cannot find it! According to the tech spec, a smart card reader comes with the m6400 by default. I called dell and they told me that the spec is wrong.

    Can anyone shed some light?

    Nope. THere is a service manual showing how to pull it apart etc, and a "Dell technology guide" which doesn't tell you much and a "quick setup guide" which shows you where to plug the psu and ethernet cable. That is it.

    Which, tbh, is pretty poor.

    But they do -- I have an M6400 and it came with one. If you didn't get it go online and download it.

    Has all kinds of pretty pictures and the like showing where everything is located
