    Hey guys

Just got through some teething problems on my covet, had to have dell replace the video card as the machine was locking up during heavy 3d use. Now, I seem to be getting BSOD's at random times, while I'm TRYING to work. I read someone has undone some windows updates to stabilize, can anyone comment on which ones? Thanks

Oy, I think I have a lemon, or it’s the wrath of vista64, I am now periodically getting kicked off the network too. I cannot get back on except to power off/on.

I am trying off the dock station now, to see if perhaps this is the solution. Ick.

See my previous posts on the M6400.
RGB-LED is the best I've seen. However, as I posted earlier this week, my machine has so many problems (see previous posts) Dell is replacing it.

I have two docking stations and have stopped using both until my replacement M6400 arrives. Too many variables but more things went wrong while docked (see previous posts).

Use only direct AC. Then when all is stable try docking station.

RGB LED is head and shoulders above the CCFL; no comparison. Some people, however, do not like the glossy surface of the E2E screen. I haven't kept track of whether or not a non-glossy RGB LED WUXGA is available for the M6400, but then I am quite happy with my E2E screen.

Go for the RGB-LED screen. The webcam is pretty useless, and instead of a fingerprint-reader you can use a smartcard. You need to calibrate the RGB-LED screen. That improved mine a lot. I first tried to adjust colors etc. by eyeballing (lagom.com) but after some time I bought a Spyder 3 tool, works much better.

Could you please post some pics of the two WUXGA screens? And of the RGB-LED screen alone. Thanks a lot in advance! ;)
