Just to let know European customers that led screen WUXGA option (not displayed on site) on M6400 silver base is 155€ (without vat.), only 25€ more than the CCFL WUXGA option. I was expecting it at least twice expencive, so it's a good news.

The seller offert me to get the orange color for free if I want too (so I can fake covet... great !).

As expected, Dell is over-selling its HDs and the guy tried to sell me bigger HDs than the tiny 120GB (which I don't want as I will stick my owns in).

Before XMas they charged 300€ for the RGB-LED and 599€ for the E2E-RGB-LED! For 155€ it's an amazing offer! :)

Is the orange cover now available for the non E2E-Display? Or will you get the E2E screen as a free update? [The normal RGB-LED has a matte finish, the E2E screen has a glass plate as a protection (like the new MacBooks) and for a slighty better contrast.]

    congrats... :D
I'd still love to the the non E2E screen in person to compare what the E2E glass plate really does :D
Compared to normal matte notebooks/tft the E2E screen seems very clear and sharp, but perhaps the normal RGB-LED screen is as good, without reflections?? :)

I just started to notice how much better the LED screens are now after playing COD 4 last night.

That's all I play on my M6400 and my computer has never crashed on me. I also use drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.

181.20, I'm pretty sure. The very latest made my screen look weird so I rolled back. These have been pretty stable for me.

Hopefully he didn't ignored the glass plate ;) the covet has a matte screen covered by a glass plate...

I noticed especially in dark setting a great improvement!

Left 4 Dead crashes on my M6400 too. I think it's an issue of the game, because all other games work perfekt.

Try the 179.44. It's certified and I get the best results for work and games yet.

just checked dell Singapore's website...there's a HUGE price drop in the m6400, last week my config = 6087USD, now its 4682USD...

the major reductions i see are on the core 2 quad extreme, the nvidia quadro 3700m and some price reduction on the 4gb ram chips.
