What do you know, the two are "in the neighborhood" but far from exactly identical eh.

I say that every version is centred on different purposes. It does not make sense to buy a Quadro for games being able to buy a much cheaper geforce. It is supposed that the one who buys a high level Precision computer is a image professional, though also there are rich children who spend stupidly the money of his parents in computers of high range to play instead of making something productive with his lives.
Nycei saves money to your parents and buys an Insipiron/Studio/XPS and uses the remaining money to study and to learn good manners. For your way of expressing i know that you do not have no more than 15 years, when you are older you will understand the luck that you have for having a rich parents. Surely you will be able to play with a Quadro and with your RGB LED screen you will see the colors of your games better but does not make sense. You can be still insulting me if you want, but I am not going to answer you because this forum is to do productive things. It is clear that exist two versions for a reason. And anyone who asks for games in a computer designed for professionals does not have the ideas clear. You believe being most expensive quadros over geforce must be better to play games. This way is like your mind works.

One question to those who already got the M6400:
Does dell ship CD/DVD for both XP and Vista, and which version, 32bit or 64 bit??
Of course, those who ordered down grade to XP.

Rofl, what is this guy drinking? Rich parents? 15 years? Good manners? Wall of text...

Anyways, the most expensive Quadro, on EARTH, will be better for gaming than some other Geforce, unfortunetly. Unless, you find a better Geforce, which will eat the Quadro. And vice versa for professional work. It just works that way, whether or not it's morally incorrect. I didn't argue against the fact that one series is not made for a specific purpose, or that it's dumb to buy a Quadro for gaming, but the truth is, it will play games. Not that it's made for it, or against it for that fact! Since, professionals need games too.

    ;)

Amen HeartyRam...some pros game too. Work then play. Usually too much work and not enough play for me...got to pay the bills and feed the fam first.

While not officially an "owner" yet I did order the Covet with an X9100 on 10/16. 64-bit Ultimate. Minimal config otherwise, upgrades to follow. Can't wait...four long weeks ahead of me.

Haha - thats funny!!! Good one evilhead :D

I like it when the kids come online and accuse the adults of being kids - cracks me up everytime. What parent would buy a M6400 for a kid? I get to write the thing off for my business :D

I like the forums ignore list - nifty feature.

Exactly!!! I happen to like the latest and greatest laptop for what I do - and I play games occasionally. Gotta pay the mortgage and grocery bills and the preschool... :)
