Charging a purchase on credit is not rich ;)

Though waiting till theres one of those 30% off coupon is certainly helpful too.

Thanks. I wrote a summary of power by component. HD's use the least, ~2W when active, which is about the same as a fingerprint reader. Your CPU uses 10W less than extreme CPUs, as does your 2700M vs the 3700M. So your config is about 22W less than a maxed out M6400 with 4-8GB RAM. That explains your ~3hr battery performance.

Good to know Win7 works on the M6400 and with improved battery life.

    Now, now lets play nicely!

Any idea when those 500GB 7200rpm come out?
    Any specs on these things?
If we can't find specs then it will probably be awhile longer before they are available retail.

Why wait... if they can offer a 30% coupon, than there's always room to negotiate. I ordered my "silver covet" without a coupon and got about 29% off.

Are there any available benchmarks for the FX2700?

I haven't followed this thread from the beginning so my question has already been answered, and if so, can you point me to the correct thread?
    Tnx!!

    M6400 owners with qx9300 cpu
could you please run cpu-z and tell me the voltage. mine is 1.36 whereas intel website shows the max voltage for this chip is 1.3v. i don't know much those things tbh but was told that 1.36 isn't right and it can damage the chip.. is that true?
    many thanks

    Jealous?

    Why are we rich b******s?

I ordered a covet - the 3700 is standard - and I bet I paid less than you. I had a 30% off coupon and my total was less than 4K including a QX9300 --

So -- you jealous **** poor shoppers -- get over it,
