Finally got Windows 7 up and going on my 2-day old E6400. Did a full clean install without any of the Dell stuff. I couldn't install the Intel Matrix driver, however, maybe Windows7 did on it's own, because I scored a 5.9 rating in hard disk performance in Windows Experience, which sounds about right for my 7200rpm drive? Interestingly enough, Windows Update also found the Ricoh Drivers.

However, what I don't understand is my Aero Performance rating sucks--yet gaming experience is good. I have the Quadro 160m. Anyway, here are my windows experience scores:

    CPU: 6.2
    Memory: 5.5
    Graphics: 2.2
    Gaming: 4.8
    Hard Disk: 5.9

Also, the only thing 'missing' in device manager is a "broadcom USH". ANyone have any input into what that is?

I believe that is the smart card reader.

Something is wrong with your GPU drivers. Make sure you have the latest driver form Nvidia.
I get (with no overclock), Graphic: 3.4 and Gaming a 5.1.
Also, my Memory is higher then yours with a 5.
    9. My guess is that you have under 4GB of RAM.

Based on the CPU and HDD which are higher then mine, I predict you have a T series CPU or the P9600 CPU, and that you have a 7200RPM HDD.

Universal Security Hub for fingerprint reader and other stuff. I believe the DCP security driver enables it. And then that driver must be installed before you can install the Intel AMT drivers for vPro or Intel AMT... I've never installed any of these... the Broadcom device sits happily banged in Device Manager.

Thanks. Didn't even think about that, because my E6400 didn't come with a fingerprint scanner.

I guess it's time to try different drivers. I went straight to Nvidia's website, and downloaded the x64 drivers for Windows 7. For whatever reason, when I went to install them, it said no supported hardware was detected. I then went back to the nVidia site, and used their tool that automatically detects your hardware and downloads the correct driver.

Maybe I'll try the Vista-64 Drivers.

Also, this is Windows 7 build 7201, which just came out a few days ago.
