Is anyone having a problem with sound? Not the crackly type sound or popping type sound my sound just seems to go in and out. Anyone else experience this? Its almost like it fades in and fades out fades in and fades out.

Do you guys experience IE8 lockup/not responding on Win7-64? Seems to happen to FF3 as well. It happens pretty random but frequent enough.

You mean the second you select a text field (search, address bar, for example) it freezes for several minutes and comes back? I had this issue, so is someone else, a few weeks ago it resolved itself. I don't know if it was my disk check, defrag, or Windows update. :/

I still experience this problem. It isn't limited to IE but to every program I start, be it Firefox, Thunderbird, Adobe Reader or whatever.
Disabling the smart card reader did not help. Had the problem right now... *sigh*

Wierd the problem you discribe is the same issue i have when the smartcard service is enabled. Check the event log to see what error messages are present after you boot up from standby.

Anyone has issues with WWAN in Windows7? In particular driver compatibilities?

Also disable the "smart card reader" in your hardware device manager

Bumping this question because I just had the same problem but on my e6400 running Vista 32. Strangely enough though- it just went away... anyone know the cause of this problem?
