Cannot install Dell Latitude E6400 Webcam after clean install

    John, I would appreciate it if you could email me that zipfile. My IT guy says we did not get the software CD with my laptop. I am being courageous by posting it here so please, no spam emails. My email is [email protected].

    Yes, I ran it as administrator. Nothing happened. The computer still fails to recognize that the webcam even exists.

    possible quick fix suggestion, try custom windows update(as opposed to auto/recommended), my dell creative webcam was offered drivers from windows update as an option. two cents

    I have the same issue with my Dell Latitdue webcam but don't have the CD. Could you please email it to me as well? I've enabled emailing from other memembers as well. Thank you! - ooops. Never mind. Just saw your previous post. Thanks a million!

    Hi John,

    Even I have the same issue. Need your help to resolve the issue. I am not able to install the webcam driver.

    Laptop Model: Latitude E5400
    OS: Windows XP

    I have installed "WEBCAMIESWEBCAMSOFTWARE.ZIP" but no use.

    I am using R219844.exe to install webcam driver.
    It goes successfully till 90% and then it throws the error. "an error occured while setting up the driver".

    Please help me
