There is only one webcam available. Most webcams advertised to be 1.3 or 2.0 MP take still photos at 1.3 or 2.0 MP but only transmit video at VGA, i.e. 648x480 i.e. 0.3 MP. For example, my father's Asus G2s has supposedly a 1.3 MP camera, but the image quality there is incredibly worse than his E6400 (or mine, for that matter) with a 0.3 MP camera.

just the crappy .3mp webcam is available, it works alright though. i did have some initial problems with it that seem to have gone away. the backlit keyboard isnt mentioned by name, i think its by model number. i had that same question when i got mine.

As far as the webcam goes, I've seen 1.3 and 2.0 megapixel integrated webcams, and the video quality was nowhere near as good as the one in the E6400.

There is some mention on the previous page about routers and that he is using one supplied by his ISP which doubles as modem and wireless router.

I have some simple advice: disable to wireless on your ISP modem/router and buy a good router, like a D-Link or Linksys. I used one of the ISP supplied routers for a little while and it caused so many problems. It was a horrible router. I bought this $60 D-Link and it has been flawless since (aside from getting a new cordless phone, but a simple setting fixed that problem)

I searched and checked ebay...doesn't look as though there are any skins available for these laptops yet. Anybody done a skin on their e6400?

I noticed today that right after booting, my CPU usage sticks at 50%. The process responsible for this seems to be winlogon.exe
I locked the computer (Win key + L) and used fingerprint to open it, after that the CPU usage dropped to normal.

Have you experienced any abnormal CPU usage?

Oh yea, here is the solution:
    Hope this helps.

If you want to maximize your help that you receive, please specify your OS and version (32/64-bit), amount of RAM, is your OS fully updated? how about drivers? Is this just a random thing, or does it happens every time? Maybe you already mentioned these things.. but we can't remember everyone PC configurations. If you don't want to repeat these things, then put your system on your signature.
