Install this system enhancement pack - Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

Premier Color works fine with the system ultilities.

To add to his post, when I ordered mine I didn't see the backlit kb until I looked at the detailed list after it was added to my card.

that software was not included in the drivers cd, so I did manually installed it. and after that sofware, i get on the screen the indication that I am adjusting screen brightness and all, but the actual brightness does not change. Should I reinstall it?

I would reset the BIOS defaults, save, restart, boot, shutdown, go back in to the BIOS, set it up as desired, save again, reboot and then see if everything is all good within Windows. Also make sure you have the ControlVault firmware installed.

I believe your screen is the 1900x1200, which will NOT fit the 1080p 16:9 aspect ratio of the newer M6600.:(

I dont think its gonna work. I mean its really not worth it. I think the bezel is literally glued into the screen so the whole process is going to be a huge mess. The only good success might be at dust free, controlled environment.

No it isn't. The bezel is very easy to remove on the M6600. The only problem is cable compatibility.

really? my colleague needed a new screen and the whole lid was replaced... I know that for edge to edge displays, it is glued that way. Perhaps the matte ones do not need to be?

And in reality, is it true that WLED is brighter than IPS? I can never trust those numbers. Any users?
