Just for fun I have a pair of Intel 520 Series 180GB drives installed and set up for Raid 0. 1097 MB/Sec reads as measured by CrystalMark.

my previous laptop was the 13" Sony Vaio Z Series with quad solid state RAID0 drive setup. It was (and still is... because the M6600 is so new) the best laptop I have ever owned.

It had FOUR 64GB SSDs in a RAID0 config and I was getting 500MB/Sec from Crystal mark... but this was more than 2 years ago. It was "teh bomb" :)

    Feels good doesn't it :)

Feels good, but I am having to figure out how to get all the speed out of it.

With the Intel RST service and Tray Icon running, I am "only" getting 940-960. Disabled it is 1080 - 1097.

I will keep working on it.

Yes, it does: docking my M6400 to the E plus disables "something", for sure the Esata port on the laptop.

Well, to be more specific: as long as you aren't using the max number of ports of given type on the dock, it will also work on the laptop itself. For sure, the dock station doesn't double eSata!

PS It can multiply the regular USB 2.0 though :)

    Yes, thanks.

However the E_Port Plus is great and I recommend it to the users :)

Can someone with a M6400 and M6600 to compare the maximum brightness of the keyboards (if both keyboards are backlit)?
Or compared to the M6500... M6400 and M6500 I think in this sense are the same.
Today I replacement the keyboard on my M6600 on the backlit version and see that the lights on the m6600 less bright.
This feature of the M6600 backlit keyboard? Or do I just unlucky with the keyboard?
    Thanks.

    WBR, Alex

PS. Bokeh, I know - You have a M6500. You would not have been so kind - to compare. I would be very grateful to You...
