Could anyone here confirm if the Dell US - Vostro 3700 is actually 1600x900 or if it is really 1366x768. Dell Australia site says it sells it for 1600x900, but the Dell US site doesn't even mention a resolution, and if you talk to the reps they all say 1366x768. So i was really confused... .. Any help would be great!!

hi ms960 - I was wondering if you already bought a vostro 3700 - in the US - and if you could confirm the display that it is 1600x900 and not 1366x768?

Could you comment on the bezel - edges around the display screen... is this portion also matted/ non glossy just like the Screen? Or are the edges around the display screen glossy?

No I haven't. I want confirmation from Dell about the resolution before I buy one. I think they'd be doing themselves a big favor if they just fessed up to the mistake on their web site.

hi ms960 - earlier today i spoke to a Dell sales rep and they said the screen was 1366x768 .. However I JUST now again spoke to a Dell sales rep on Chat and she said she was certain it is a 1600x900 screen.. Maybe by next week they will have consistent information since this was just released last week... just wanted to give you a heads up

Just checked the DELL SMB page for the new Vostros. They already dropped in price for around $100. The cheapest V3400 config is now only $599.
