I know, I agree. But I'm sure the reason they do it is so they can show a lower price for the "from" price. Some people only compare those "from" prices and don't recognize that they aren't doing a fair comparison.

Did anyone notice that the RGB LED screen seems to be gone from the options for the E6510? It seems to have been replaced by something called this:

15.6" HD+(1600x900) Wide View Anti-Glare LED with Premium Panel Guarantee [add $79.00]

Does anyone know what Premium Panel Guarantee is?

I noticed that today too. There used to be a HD+ and a RGB HD+. No idea why the later is gone.

The Premium Panel Guarantee guarantees against defective or stuck pixels for the warranty life of the laptop.

Who's your rep? I'm looking at getting Studio XPS 16, a Studio 15, a Mini 10 (maybe 2), a couple LCD monitors, and some other stuff. Am using business credit so I need to buy from that side. I'd be essentially happy if they at least match the Home side pricing but if he can do even better I'll probably get more. Looking to spend about $5-6k right now.

I love Complete Care, makes me not worry about a lot of stuff, easily paid for itself on my 4 year old E1505. Of course YMMV.

Feel free to PM info if you want.

Does anyone know of a way to order Latitude and Precision models without having a small business or education account?

I'm trying to order an E6510, and the Employee Purchase Program sales is not giving me any discount at all. :(

Just repeat your name as the business. It certainly works for telephone orders.

Quick question: is there no way to use a dell preferred account (the consumer dell credit) for a latitude? Can they do that over the phone?
