I am not sure that I understood your question. I ordered the Blu-ray burner. The only option which was too expensive(not competitive) in my opinion...

Yes, I agree. That's why I did not order one from Dell. Now I'm wondering which one to get (Blu-ray burner).

I investigated a lot and the most accurate but also one of the most fragile is X-Rite Eye-One Display 2. The most expensive I found is i1 XTreme.

I read that Spyder calibration device and software are less good than Pantone products. I think that's why Bokeh had some difficulties. I also think that depending on the type of screen (CRT, LCD, LED, OLED, etc), the calibration is more or less easy. I didn't find any test on this specific point, so if somebody find something I'm interested.

Like me, you're not a graphist or a photographer. Maybe you should try to find a place where you could pay to caliber your screen once. There is no point for us to invest in such device but green and red saturation is very unpleasant. Usually, sold screens are closed to proper calibration.

    Perhaps, Dell should :
    - offer calibration profile (on dell drivers site) for samsung and LG screens
    - suggest calibration device (tested by them) when buying M6500

In light of recent developments and the sobering realization that my order is not going to make my currently delayed ship date, I've added my "warez" to my signature to more accurately reflect the version of M6500 currently in my possession :)

That's the thing, I think the DVD drive that comes standard with the M6500 is 9.5mm vs. the Sony 6500S is 12mm, so now I'm trying to find a blu-ray burner that's 9.5mm.

I could not understand what was stated in that thread, do you know if they said the Sony Blu-ray with fit in the M6500?

The guy on that thread is still looking for but I think his solution will be to buy an external one + a external box... or you can use the Panasonic UJ-242A which is 9.5mm but the same price as the Dell (BD-RE UJ232A) :)

not at lot of alternatives apparently
