What i Read again in the review is typical for most LED displays i measured - strong blueish :( :( Very cold color temperature again... With seperate leds for each color it should be possible to avoit that??

    Best, Walter

Its only very cold blue in sRGB mode. It is still blue in aRGB mode. It is actually close to a very neutral 6500K in NTSC mode and without controlpoint.

I am sure that Dell will provide them with a response and hopefully some help with calibration.

    Hi Bokeh,

how or where do I set NTSC mode? I am using Win7 x64.
In Color Management I only see sRGB and scRGB.

Currently I use a "self calibrated" profile where I reduced blue with the Windows 7 color calibrator. I am just a developer so I don't care too much about color correctness. But I do not like the default "coldness" of the WLED colors.

I already posted a lot of this info. See post #663.

You will see that my last measurement was around 6800K, but I was later getting much closer to 6500K. I was probably not allowing the LED to "settle in" for a couple of minutes after adjusting the brightness downward.

This is a change you make in the Dell controlpoint software. If you don't have that software installed, the panel will be in NTSC/Native mode.

Any chance the soon-to-be-announced ATI firepro M7820 will get onboard the M6500? :D

finally Nvidia is facing some competition in workstation graphics...
