I can confirm that all orders for the M6500 Quad Core systems placed after March 2nd will be USB 3.0 enable. Please remember, as stated by Boken in his review, USB 3.0 is not enable out of the box, it is in USB 2.0 mode. You must enter the BIOS and enable it there. USB 3.0 requires at least A02 BIOS to be installed.

I hope A03 has the option to disable Hyperthreading.

Also my request for a return of my M6500 was denied by customer care.
I placed the request at within the 30 day period.

Is this a new practice for them on new machines?

What pisses me off about it is, within 2 weeks of getting it the price dropped $400, they added USB3, 8GB 1600Mhz memory options which were not available when I bought it.

So now they are gonna stick it to me.

Can anyone confirm that the CPU will auto scale up to 3.6mhz as it needs to or is there somehting I have to do in order to get the CPU to run at the overclock speeds?

Run an app like WinRar and compress something large, and then open CPU-Z which will show you live frequency readings.

So it should just do it on its own without me doing anything?

Also is CPU-Z and winrar an add on program?
