We had exactly the same problem as yours... and no solution for the moment apart to disable the protection...

Hi MannyA, I did install the latest firmware, and ControlVault says the current version is 14.6.118.0. However, after reinstalling the ControlPoint Software, it gave me the error message that my firmware is out of date, that the current version is [blank]. Did that twice. Still installed "Biometrics Device" as "Dell ControlVault w/o fingerprint sensor".

    Hi luk73,

Ok l will see what I can do, Autodesk has recommended Nvidia 3800M with
The M6500, What exactly is the problem give details?

And you may want to check and see what version of the
.net framework you have installed. See my post#2569

And go into the Add and Remove Programs > Add and Remove Windows Components,
To make sure the .net framework is enabled, be careful in here.

    My configuration....
    M6500 i7 820 w/ 8gig RAM using FX3800M. On Win7 x64 Ultimate.
All Autodesk products(3dsmax Design 2010, Revit, Autocad and eon's Vue xstream) I use are working perfectly since I last bought the unit in January.

The M6500 with ATI 7740 is certified for Inventor, look here http://www.inventor-certified.com/graphics/SV14_vend.pdf

My question is: what driver is best for the ATI 7740? Thanks

Another question - my recently downgraded account manager is very eager but very hopeless about getting accurate info.

Does the E-View stand work with the M6500 and advanced port replicator?
