My celeros system with 320G 7200rpm HD is noisless.
Moreover the HD is a Toshiba 7200RPM hd that is one of the best (like Hitachi).
I am really happy with it.

    Hey,

anyone got me a tip for a wellpriced sleeve the V13 will fit into nicely? Many 13" sleeves I've seen will fit in width and lenght, but are too "high". I don't need 4cm of height, obviously ... I'd really like a "snug fit". Any recommendations?

    Thanks guys! :)

Thanks a bunch mate, but including shipping (to Germany) that's over 80 Dollars - more than I want to pay for a sleeve, really. But thanks anyways! :)

does anyone know the lcd panel used in their V13? my screen cracked so I have to replace the panel myself since i know how much Dell charges for out of warranty parts. The panel used in my V13 is made by Chungwa Model CLAA133WA01 and i can't find anyone that sells it. If anyone else has a different lcd panel please let me know.

I have been reading alot about the screen issues of late. I ordered a Latitude 13 to replace my Envy 13, but I seriously thinking about canceling my order now...

yea i talked to Dell but they wouldn't cover it under standard warranty. Only complete care. I'm pretty sure i didn't damage it.

I have the same vibration problem with my Vostro V13. No noise problem, just vibration. I have called to DELL support and confirm me it is the hard disk spining at 7200. I am not sure if it is worth change it for a 5400 because a previous post in this forum (from a german guy) tell that it did not fix the vibration. Now I am waiting for a DELL support callback for a solution to this problem. If anybody else have the same problem and found a solution with DELL (not by himself), please, write about it. Thanks.

I love mine to death, but I put a SSD and 4gb of ram into it. Runs everything I want quite well. Even surprised at the WoW performance of this machine considering it's designed for business.
