That's odd to have to hold down the button to get normal sound. Have you tried reinstalling the audio drivers?

Worst case could be a bad cable or audio board.

    Hey Rodster
That was me who mentioned that the 500gb drive ran cooler and had less vibration than the 320gb. Just curious, who's the manufacture of your 500 gb drive? Mind is Samsung

Has anyone tried replacing the WLAN module with one of the newer models out? I believe these do come with 3 wires because the intel 5300 module is an option when ordering.

Yes you should be able just to swap it out. The extra wires are bundled off to the side.

Hey, do any of you guys ever install the ST Microelectronics DE351DL Motion Sensor driver? I'm debating it after a clean install. Other than dropping the laptop is there any other benefits? I've read on other forums that some have had performance issues when using the accelerometer.

I installed it on my SSD as recommended by Windows update.

If you find the accelerometer settings are too crazy, you can fine tune the settings.

Have you noticed any side effects on a regular notebook drive?

Personally no, and I used my L13 for about 4 months with a normal HDD before going to the Vertex 2.

My order placed on 4/26 with an estimated ship date of 5/12 has been delayed :( My new delivery date is 6/8... I'm losing my enthusiasm for this laptop day by day...

Don't give up man it's a sweet deal, nice laptop too. Did you call them and ask order support the reason for the delay?
