While I did upgrade the firmware on my 980s, from a driver perspective I didn't do anything special. Windows detected the drives during install and loaded without any issues. They've been rock solid for me since day one.

I haven't had this issue with any of the systems that I have tested on. I have it running all of the time on my M6700 and 7560.
Can you run it from command line "as administrator" and copy/paste the terminal output? (Want to see which fan speed reader method it chose to use on your system.)
Probably best to take this to the thread for this app since it doesn't have anything to do with 7X60.

I have not been closely keeping track, but I do not recall seeing any issues reported with the 980 or non OEM drive in a 7760 with AHCI or RAID-ON. Anyone other than @Aaron44126 try a non OEM drive in the Gen 4 slot in a 7560 and all working ok (AHCI or RAID-ON and Boot or not)?

Does anyone know why there is no hibernate option in the Windows settings on the 7760?

Hibernate is available on my 7560.
    1. Check Windows "Power Options" - "Choose what the power buttons do" (on the left) - Make sure that "Hibernate" is ticked.
    2. Make sure that Hibernate is actually enabled. From admin command prompt, type: powercfg -h on

I have 2x32GB ECC RAM on the 7760. Using CPU-Z under the memory tab, under Timings, it shows the DRAM Frequency at around 800 MHz. is that correct or should it be 1600 MHz? The CL is 22.

Task Manager notes the Speed at 3200 MHz.

Bios shows it as 3200 MHz

This is just because of different ways of measuring/reporting the DDR clock speed.

Your modules are actually running off of a 800 MHz clock. DDR modules can actually do multiple operations per clock cycle so "marketing" reports the speed at a multiple of the actual clock speed.

I've also heard of issues with the 980 in the Gen4 slot, but I have had none of those issues. All of my issues revolve around graphics atm.
I have my BIOS set to AHCI, not RAID.
