Well, since you can get a similar configuration for around 1100-1200 from the outlet, or a 30% off retail coupon then I think you got a pretty decent deal.

Not really, this system is not refurbished, it hasnt even been taken out of the box to be turned on yet, and 30% coupons dont come by that often, even though you've read about them here and there, its just not that easy with business models otherwise we would have 30% coupons every month...forget about it. I've only seen them pop up once, its nothing regular. I dont believe with everything I was giving I should get 70% of the retail price, I'm looking to beat Dell's price but not at a point where I lose $600. I'm not Dell, they lose much less giving discounts, I lose a lot more. Thats why I was hoping not to get low balled and at least get 85-88% of what I paid, saves someone else the hassle of trying to get discounts off Dell, and they dont pay tax. Put yourself in my shoes, $600 hurts quite a bit.

I'm still debating whether or not to take the negative feedback to ruin my 100% score or just give it to the winner since he deserves it, though I'll probably end up doing the right thing in the end since the guy did bid his heart out and theres really no other option for me if I take the negative feedback.

Some of the system from the outlet are in just the same condition - cutomer returns never taken out of the box. 30% off coupons maybe don't come out often, but according to several people here can be negotiated with a good rep.
And I guess most people that consider ebay shopping for a high end workstation laptop won't mind a regular refurbished laptop given the price advantage.
Right now, Dell is offering the M4400 with up to $394 instant savings, so 12-15% of retail is daydreaming...

Sad part is, with each passing day they computer loses more value.

Still, I think you got a decent price for it.
Just look over ended ebay auctions - you got the best price for a model w/o SSD.

RAM: i think what you got for it is reasonable for your spec.

i dont think the freebies add much value because if anything happens dell will replace the parts under warranty, and you do have a 3 year warranty. keyboard might be useful, if it gets worn out its good to have a spare

btw, your warranty IS valid globally. but for complete cover to be available in another country you have to fill in this form for the transfer though:

Would Dell honor the warranty in a country they dont sell the M4400 in?

are you sure they dont sell the M4400 there? in some countries the M4400 is only available if you call them or check out the large business portion of their website.

what country are you referring to?
