So I read somewhere in the thread that the slice for the previous generation precisions will not be recognized in the latest models.

Are there any other slices out there that will work? Is there any other way to get some more battery life?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Whenever the speakers are on there is this loud very high pitch noise coming out from the speakers. The noise gets louder as I set the volume higher.

When I mute it, there is no noise.

This high pitch sound is literally killing my ears right now. I dont think I have experienced this before, but is suddenly behaving this way.

What seems to be the problem??

No idea? Could not reproduce the issue....
Did you do anything in particular to cause this?
    Maybe a software issue?

there is nothing unusual that is installed. The os is in factory setting as well.

The only thing could be after I have installed some games...

But when the speaker is over 30%, the high pitch noise gets extremely loud...

I dont think this is drivers issue. I might have to try call support tomorrow.

I have a M17x R2 that can handle two ati 75w cards crossfire.

Will TWO FirePro M8900 work for crossfire? on Ebay I saw that there is physical cable port for the crossfire cable..

Please let me know what you think. Thank you in advance.

So I have been searching for aftermarket 32 gb kit. I had no luck in find one manufactured by one of the major brands. There are plenty available for the 16gb kit.

Can anyone please tell me where I can find the aftermarket 32 gb ram kit upgrade for my precision??

    Thank you in advance!

I just did a quick check and I haven't seen any 32gb kits for laptops. What's wrong with two 16gb kits? Other than price (Which, from what I see when comparing two 8gb sticks to a 16gb kit, isn't much).
