I'm still trying to track down my "Unknown Device" in my Device Manager screen.
If I could trouble someone running Vista 32 on a Covet to pretty-please expand all the tree branches on the Device Manager and email me me the screen shots of it ([email protected]), I could use it to compare and track down the missing driver.
Thanks to all of you for making this a great gathering place!
    I will post a fo

well, i hope your machine is good then so you dont have to go through this...you can try downloading a 30day trial of 3d studio max from autodesk. just make a bunch of geometry on the screen, if you are not familier with the program there should be a quick tutorial that pops up to show you how to make simple geometry. next, go to customize > preferences > veiwports tab...at the bottom of the dialog box, change your graphics driver to directX 10 (this quadro card is supposed to run it) this is what makes my computer crash every time....in directX 9 it only crashes sometimes and i doubt you will want to sit there that long to find out. if you want you can try to continue increasing the complexity of the objects in your scene...try the turbo smooth modifier...and then just sit there and rotate your view. this is what crashes my machine.

I have had the same error message, but was running the diagnostic that you can access after post clicking F12, and selecting diagnostic instead of BIOS.
And do not know what its mean.

My is running XP64, and is running wonderful, no problems at all, even having the error message above, only the audio stuttering but just after installing a driver during the first rebooting, and not all times, then no problem.

I use Rhino, and make the model ghosted move in the space with a 3dconnexion mouse, I can hear the two fans running at maximum, but never crashed, the model is about 80Mb in size.

yeah, actually i have never had a crash caused by Rhino either...usually just max, once in maya. Max's use of the graphics card is a bit more complex as it has it's own drivers and seems to take more advantage of the technology in the quardro. actually, it seems to be all the autodesk products i use, because i have had autocad cause a crash also.

Did you install the control point stuff? The security hub need some parts of the system manager. Another quess whould be the WUSB device if you have the Bluetooth 410 chip.
