It's worth every cent for me. First it looks different, then I switched the Vista standard color profil from sRGB to Adobe RGB that improved the overall look a lot. Tomorrow I get my Spyder 3 Pro tool to calibrate the screen. But even without calibration it's the best notebook screen I've seen yet.

    Does anyone have this item:
"Neo Premium Sleeve 17 inch for Mobile Precision"
    Item# 330-1850
    Part# FN983

I ordered it but they keep sending me a 15" one.

Packing slip says "case, SLP, NYL, 15.0, TIM2"
    Item# 330-1850
    Part# FN967

I now have two 15" ones.
For some reason they can't send the 17" one.

Does anybody have an opinion as to how the m6400 and the hp 8730w compare? Reason I ask is I'm basically a Dell person, have spent a fair amount in the last year and can only get a $300 discount calling some 'sales rep' on a $5400 m6400 where a very similiarly configured hp comes in at $4500 with an 18% coupon.

they're both really very similar.i prefer the keyboard on the dell, and i havent seen the figures, but qualitatively speaking the dell felt lighter.

the HP has a smaller power adaptor and better battery life IIRC

what country are you buying the dell in? maybe you need to try calling again and talking to a different rep. some of them are really annoying and not willing to help out at all...

I am in Costa Rica but will be buying in the U.S. The hp really is beautiful and 18% off of 4500 is the only thing that's got me thinking. Like close to $2000 dollars thinking. Truth is I've never owned anything but a Dell and they've all been great. I was reading another thread about the same thing and it said the 6400 uses a desktop board and that's why the 210 power supply for the hps 150. But I'm going to try Dell one more time because I'm a creature of habit I guess. Thanks for the quick input tho.
