Have you resolved your high pitch noise?
What sort of improvement expected with Ag/Zn battery?
    Cost?

Thanks. I've had random problems with reading from DVD.
Also keep on getting notification from Intel Matrix Storage that new storage device has been detected/added.

"I tired pushing for the RGB LED but it breaks their swap policy...etc."

Try suggesting that you are willing to make up the cost difference for the RGB LED. I think it is worth.

By the way the RGB LED taken out of my system was LG, and the 'Nividia' FX3700M taken out and the new one put in had no Nividia markings, instead it had a big DELL on the board. Also the board was tiny and even though the Dell tech said the 1GB was on the board I had a hard time believing it (maybe the technology has changed a lot since I last knew it well 10+ years ago).

I have bought on outlet and products have been better than the new ones ...
2000 Insperon 5000e still going with not a single hardware problem in 8 years of everyday use ...
Not a single dead pixel and its screen and trackpad is better than most new machines today. I know I'm going to get flack for this post ...

As far as I know are all RGB-LED screens from LG at the moment. Only the M4400 has Samsung and LG RGB-LED screens.

Dell uses a custom Board for the FX 3700 not a standard MXM board, so it's not strange that they brand it with their logo.

Very good price! Unfortunately we don't have a Dell outlet here, so I need to order directly from Dell. I have almost the same configuration (smaller HDDs, but RGB LED) and payed 50% more after a very good discount :(
