$300 doesn't sound right (that's not even 10% off $5400?), try to get with Small Business sales people at the minimum... should be able to get atleast 15%, if not 30% or more... also you can try the Outlet store...

When you plug in the 90W or 130W power supply, the M6400 gives a note, that it needs at 150W. I just ordered two 150W power supplys from the old Precisions, they should work, and aren't as fat as the "brick".

What I don't like on the HP is how they placed the connections. The 3 main USB ports (together with the e-Sata port) is on the right frontcorner. That's the place where I use my external mouse.
A great advantage will be the battery life (but you get only 2 so-dimm sockets in trade off) and it's slimmer than the Dell.

I got the belkin 17" one from them - with a 20 off coupon -- It's a perfect fit for my Covet - and slides perfectly into my McKlein rolling backpak

What are you experiencing? I find the lack of a Dock/Undock option annoying in Vista,

Hey guys, is there a way to fix this on the laptop. The brightness on the screen dims after a few minutes of being idle, I have to manually turn it back up. I have the power options set to a full brightness.
