    I have a question.

I am trying to set up triple screens with my m6400.

I have the eport plus replictor with the dell 24" wide currently working secondary to the notebook screen.

When I try to hook up my third screen(the second ouput on the replictor). I can still only set up 2 monitors. It will let me set up any combination of 2 monitors and it sees all 3. I am also running windows XP 32bit.

My video driver is the latest ISV certified for the dell driver page.

As far as I am aware, it will only drive 2 screens at once. There was a chart in the user guide that displayed the display options.

If I remember correctly Outlet coupons are different than retail coupons. Am not 100% on that but the 20% coupon I used was specifically for Outlet Precisions. You might ask if they are interchangable but I sort of doubt it. But again, I don't know. And how did I find the coupon? Just Googled "dell coupons" and waded through lots of hits. Maybe I Googled 'dell outlet coupons', I really don't remember but it wasn't hard.

And yes it is an incredible price for this thing. I would never have bought it at the retail price. Since nobody buys my laptops for me I'd never pay 5800 for this machine no matter that it's probably well worth that to someone that can drop 6 grand for a laptop destined to lead a hard life.

And it took a couple weeks to find one that met my specs. With the Outlet you'll find one day 4 or 5 machines listed and the next day there'll be 50. But plenty of high end settups if you keep looking. I still check out the Outlet every so often with the thought that if I find another like this one I just might buy it. Having two would still be cheaper than one like mine from retail. Last night after I answered your post I dropped into the Outlet and they only had 4 M6400s listed but two of them had the 3700FX card. Best of luck.

Anyone tried popping the lid off a 12.7mm blueray/dvd drive to see if it makes it narrow enough to fit the m6400 9.5mm slimline bay?

Might be worth a try since the 12.7mm versions are much cheaper! The pic below I scavanged from e-bay suggests this could be possible!

    Veni :)
