No but I found the same Blu-Ray drive the M6400 uses for a Lenevo (Lenevo Face Plate) and it works fine. $350 was better than $700.

I found a place to order bezels, and found one that hopefully fits properly.

I recall someone on here saying that there was no sound via the HDMI cord.

As for sound thru HDMI, I believe some have expressed that sound is carried if the internal speakers are muted. Do a search.

In the business Outlet store, find the link to sign up for email alerts. I've gotten a 15% off Precision coupon, and they send out a few emails a month with different offers.

I ordered one similar to that from Dell (Dell part number: 330-1271) a while back. My TV gets both picture and sound when I play a movie (with WinDVD).

Sorry for interrupting the current subject, but I have two questions.

    1) Are the Nvidia driver problems with M6400 LED displays a thing of the past? What is the latest driver version which runs games OK and works correctly on LED displays (no washed out screen)?

    2) Did anybody manage to overclock either the CPU or the GPU on the M6400? I have the Q9300 and FX3700M, but I'm working abroad and using it mainly for gaming and ArmA 2 needs all the performance the notebook can give it, so any tip would be highly appreciated.
Regarding the CPU, I couldn't locate the PLL id (same problem with my previous HP 8710W and T9300).
As far as the GPU is concerned, I use W7 and noticed that the Coolbits registry patch doesn't seem to work anymore (maybe I'm missing smth). Also, Rivatuner reports wrong clocks (lower) in all the modes (2D, 3D low, 3D high). EVGA Precision seems to detect better but it doesn't support configuration of different power saving modes.

    Thanks.

New topic: POWER SUPPLY!!! Has anyone found an equivalent wattage (or close) aftermarket power supply for this machine that is smaller\lighter? The current one is a BEAST! I keep checking around every couple of months but so far no luck. Someone please tell me a smaller replacement exists!
Cheers from a stoop-shouldered, lumbar-crushed hacker (started right when I started lugging this thing around).
