    Well i would of tried to use the machine for a moment but the lady who i was speaking with was Chinese and didn't speak English much.

    Having owned a Vostro 1220 for awhile now, I can testify that the laptop is very sturdy and well build and the keyboard is a pleasure to type on. So freedom16, you can leave the Chinese lady alone since you don't speak any Chinese.

    Of course they will eventually, but V1220 is a fresh model in the early stage of its life cycle, you might have to wait quite a while.

    Yeah it came out only in April of last year but soon enough it will be a year, the v13 is really not a good machine it looks nice cmon i dislike machines without a removable battery. What do you do with your v1220?

    Hello guys ... i wanna ask u guys a question, i was planing on getting the 1220 with p8600 and 4gb ram and 320 gb hard drive .. the thing is that its will be $973 plus 6 cell batt and tax and everything .. this is with the deal that saves u $260 automatticaly till the 15th .. my dad is telling me it will get cheaper after the deal is over .. should i wait or should i buy it now ?

    dell's prices rarely get cheaper after the deals are over. its very difficult to tell. my advice is to get it now. is that 973 USD or CND?

    its Canadian dollars .. he said that when he bought his laptop it was a back to school sale and next week it dropped like $300

    i was hopping it would get cheaper cause 973 is kinda a lot for a student

    Beginning of July of last year....probably won't refresh for another year yet...if that's quick for you, then wait it out.....LOL

    the 1220 isnt due for a refresh anytime soon i dont think, so its very unlikely it will drop any further anytime soon, besides 973 is a pretty good price for that spec
